Is Beyonce Fat? Slideshow Tribute

If Beyonce Knowles dons a Thierry Mugler gown that accentuates her curvy physique, she’s also fat. This concerns me. If gorgeous women like Beyonce are “fat,” what does that mean for the rest of us? She’s normal! Beyonce is admits she diets hard for her career before album releases and tours. That’s not different then us losing a lil for that college reunion.

She keeps a tough schedule landing the cover of Vogue. Unfortunately, in line with cultural stereotypes, the issue is the ‘Shape Issue,’ contributing to the stereotype of Black women, and Latina women too, as especially ‘curvy’….
The magazine sets up, essentially, an impossibility:  ‘Have curves, but by curves we mean something very specific: breasts and an ass; You know, like Black women got. See Beyonce? She’s Black. So she’s got curves.  No matter that she’s extremely thin one day and a little thick the next.  These magazine want our women to ‘conquer your demons,’ we love you ‘from size zero to size 20.’  Just kidding!  We totally don’t…case in point J.Lo (Damn! I miss that ass)

This is for my girl Beyonce…Can’t say I love her as an artist, but I can say I love that ass..Can I say that?

    Ugh

Hmm she really doesn't look like she's a size 4. I'm almost a size 4 and I'm naturally thin. And there's nothing wrong with being thicker or thinner. I'm so tired of this "which body type" is better crap. America is really superficial!

I think her image is empowering! There are a lot more healthy women in the world that look like Beyonce rather than Kate Moss! Fat….NO! Pleasantly thick…Yes!(and healthy, might I add!)
