Day 1 Monday Cardio 30mins/ Legs Max OT
I’m writing this down on a daily basis since I’ve been swamped. Posting and hosting a blog can be difficult at times but I’m back! I had an awesome workout last week at HardCore Gym in Athens, GA with some UFC fighters. Every so often you need to get your bubble burst. I thought I was in decent shape, even though I wasn’t last …I for sure wasn’t first. Granted I did pretty well for a 30 something year old guy, compared to some college boys but not good enough. YOU HAVE TO SET STANDARDS! I look better than my sister or I can still fit in those jeans are not standards!
I will be hitting the Gym/weights 5 times a week and recording my plan, that’s the easy part….now let’s see what happens.
30 minutes on the bike at 110 rpms average.
Exercise Sets Reps
Squats 3 4 to 6
Leg Press 2 4 to 6
Stiff Leg Dead lift 2 6
Standing Calf Raise 2 6 to 8
45º Calf Press 2 6 to 8
This is part of the Max OT training program. Each rep was done to positive failure lifting as heavy as possible. I did this several years ago with good results in a short period of time. No more socializing at the gym!
I need a plan (I’ll explain this later) and this is it.
Now, the day after my leg workout, my leg muscles are going to ache post-workout! I have to believe it’s time to get HUGE!
