Day 21: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Legs
SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO PUSH….ITS BEEN 21 DAYS, IS IT A HABIT?
The Good: I have a rental property that is kickin my ass more so than this workout…OK i’m lying. After 2 hours of BSing at the house I decided to finish up some work at the rental. It started to rain and I just wanted to go home…but today was legs. I’m driving down the road and before you know it I at the gym.
The Bad:I didn’t complete my entire Max OT routine but I went 315×6 and 335×6 on squats…I punked out of deadlifts and played basketball which felt great. The problem with playing ball afterwards is I never give my muscels a chance to recover or refuel.
The Ugly: This is 2 parts bad and badder. I had a high calorie shake at 12:30 AM and went straight to bed. To make matters worse I woke up around 4am and had some PB&J. Compounding all of this is an important element NO REST+NO RECOVERY=NO GROWTH. (catabolism)
