Another Celebrity Workout: Beyonce Knowles

Celebs like Beyonce look good most (if not all ) of the time and i know it doesn’t happen over night, so i wanted o post what i found out there workout plan maybe. wanted to focus on the workout as apose to the dieting cos i know that can get crazy. Plus for the most part the workout is somehing we can all do.

MINUTE 1: BASIC CRUNCHES
MINUTE 2: BICYCLE CRUNCHES
Lie
on floor, legs extended at a 45-degree angle. Bring bent left knee
toward chest, reaching right elbow toward it. Alternate right and left
knees.

MINUTE 3: REST
MINUTE 4: LEFT TWISTS
Lie on back, knees bent, hands behind head, elbows out. With feet on floor, curl up, aiming right shoulder at left knee.

MINUTE 5: RIGHT TWISTS
MINUTE 6: REST
MINUTE 7: PLANKS
Lie facedown. Support your weight on toes and forearms. Keep elbows directly beneath shoulders and body straight.

MINUTE 8: REST
MINUTE 9: PLANKS
MINUTE 10: REST
MINUTES 11 and 12: CAPTAIN’S CHAIR
Do 3 sets of 20 at a gym. Grip handholds and press lower back into pad, letting legs hang. Slowly lift bent knees to chest.

She also does the following:
Every
day except Sunday, she does a 4 mile, 40 minute jog. After a warm-up,
she increases the treadmill incline to 2 percent and switches the speed
from 6.0 mph to 7.5 mph and back every 30 seconds.
After the treadmill comes a 20 minute dumbell session.
One day a week, she does yoga.

Serena Williams Covers ESPN Magazine: The BODY Issue (Oh Yeah…Other Athletes Too)

Serena Williams covers ESPN Magazine’s The Body Issue…this is the first ever Body issue from the magazine which looks to make it a yearly edition of the magazine. The magazine also features different covers featuring different athletes from different sports including Dwight Howard from the NBA, Adrian Peterson of the NFL, female MMA fighter Gina Carano are of the 30 professional athlethes who will be posing nude or semi nude for the issue. Damn Serena…Appluad Common!

The magazine will show athletes on the field and off, and even in the operating room during knee surgery, said editor-in-chief Gary Belsky during a conference call Wednesday.

In one section called “Bodies We Want” top athletes either pose in the buff (with private parts strategically covered) or with minimal clothing. The section is “essentially our version of the best bodies in sports,” said Belsky.

The magazine has chosen six athletes (3 male and 3 female) from this section to appear on six different magazine covers. — source: USA Today
