V8 Spalsh= Healthy Food Failure

Time for another episode of  “Mike on his Soapbox“. I never claim to be Mr. Healthy, I’m just glad I can recognize pitfalls and pick myself up. I love my wife but she gets duped like all of us and brings home V8 Splash…it’s time for a little pick me up!

v8-splash-med

A major disappointment when you consider their creme de la creme 100% vegetable juice san the sodium and sugar  (why does V8 vegetable juice need sugar anyway?). Ok so why am I putting this in the failure category? Please read below:

Ingredients
Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Carrot Juice from Concentrate (Water, Carrot Juice Concentrate), Apple Juice from Concentrate (Water, Apple Juice Concentrate), Citric Acid, Natural Flavoring, Peach Juice from Concentrate (Water, Peach Juice Concentrate), Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate), Mango Puree Concentrate, Beta Carotene.

In the  advertising world using the term healthy is perfectly legal. There is NO legal definition of “healthy” or “natural” so the marketing people can state whatever they think will sell more product. They can also take advantage of the fact that we think V8 means healthy or rightous.

They are crooks and liars, to be blunt. They are armed with doctors, psychologist, marketeers and attorneys …all you have is your little American dollar.

That is why I’ll be busting out the juicer this weekend…

    healthy chocolate

I never took this yet. But I take 'Healthy Chocolate" for that purpose. It's called XocoSlim but the benefits extend way beyond weight loss… this chocolate fights disease, increases your metabolism and restores your hormones to optimum levels…

This is not only unhealthy, it's an epic failure. High Fructose Corn Syrup is terrible for you. If you don't believe me, then watch this: http://www.wildcardpersonaltraining.com/sugar-the…
