It is time for me to get my Black Fitness on!

I’m Mike and yes I’ve heard all the “Mikey likes it” jokes. I was chubby, just until I played sports. Now I’m not a lean machine but at 17% bodyfat and with a love for fitness I feel inspired to blog. I always get asked for fitness tips and how, what, & when should I workout. I’ve decided to lean out to 10% play the role and help.

I’m compelled to health brothers and sisters whom I see make life changing mistakes. With obesity becoming almost an epidemic, I think we might be leading the charge. With so much information out there, this can be a place to take a practical approach to health and wellness. I can’t train everyone or become the ultimate trainer but what I can do is help you stay away from those sloppy trainers at the gym that give bad advice.

The blog is not about fad diets, or get skinny quick schemes. We’re advocating weight loss through lifestyle change, not quick fixes - they simply don’t exist. Stop eating and acting like a fat person and start emulating the diet and habits of a powerful black fit person. Blog entries will tackle one or more exercise, fitness,diet topics, a little motivation and some of me running my mouth. Week after week if you incorporate the ideas and tips we’re sharing, you will lose weight and start looking and feeling better.
