My Fitness Journey
Marriage, work, family, school and stress can cause havoc on the body. I reached peak physical condition twice in my life senior year of college (strength wise) and when I moved to the south for a new job (long story). Either way the journey is finding a fitness balance and using food as medicine. Being the strongest is not the most important but having a beach body and functional fitness is the goal. There are ups and downs but there will always be a consistent goal of getting my blackfitness on.

Jennifer Hudson a Size 0?! Really!
J. Hud has famously dropped 80lbs of weight since giving birth to her first child. She had gone down a massive five dress sizes in recent years, from a size 16 to a size 4. How did she do it? By dieting and working out, of course!

Barry Sanders
Barry David Sanders (born July 16, 1968) is a former American football running back who spent all of his professional career with the Detroit Lions in the NFL. Sanders is best known for being one of the most prolific and elusive running backs of all time, and left the game just short of the all-time rushing record. I'm Back on the Grid!
I’ve been obviously MIA…playing around and learning. I have a lot of things going on and can’t wait to share….
There will be changes to the site but I figure let me get back to the basics instead of being fancy smancy…and no I wasn’t inspired by facebook changes. I still have some updating to do and add some amazing stories people have been emailing me. Either way be on the look out….it’s good to be back.

Do Something Different!!!
I’ve been doing an afternoon run 3 times a week ~1.5m through a trail for about 2 months. Dont ask my why or how, but after running in the 95C sun…nothing else weems to matter.
Even tough I havent mastered it, I started to do sprints 8x50yds post run. Talk about sweat!
